I currently teach acting, business of show business, speech, and voice & movement to actors at New York Film Academy, throughout the US and internationally. I draw on Stanislavsky, Grotowski, Laban, Suzuki, Expressive Actor, as well as a combination of Knight-Thompson and Skinner speech work to help you tell your story in a holistic, joyful, and embodied way.

I also serve as a private dialect and speech coaching in both the corporate and entertainment industries, and am available to teach both in-person and online.

Lauren Mack is more than a speech and acting coach, she taught me about life and encouraged me to believe in myself and play those challenging roles that require so much work with [my] accent.

She encouraged me to have faith in my work and always believe that I can achieve my goals. Her talent inspired me to work harder, to embrace my roots and who I am, and to put it all in the character. She showed me that accent is not a limitation... it’s part of your life experience and you can use it as a weapon in the acting industry.

Having her as a teacher and coach, you feel really comfortable and you get very confident in your work. She gets really fast what you need to work on and give you specific exercises for you to improve as fast as you can. One of the best teachers I ever had.

Lauren Mack was my speech teacher at NYFA sadly only for 8 weeks. She was inspiring and helped me understand the English pronunciation better by working with IPA. She was very dedicated, kind, caring, very patient, fun to work with and always on time. She went over and beyond for her students by having [coachings] late nights and even over the weekends... It was a great pleasure having her as my teacher and would like to say that we need more teachers like her.
